In June 2024, Motorola introduced the Moto G85 globally, powered by the Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 chip. And now, it looks like a Moto G86 is poised to take its place, as leaks have already shown renders, color choices, and price points. Now, a fresh leak from renowned tipster Evan Blass has revealed pretty much everything about the device.

Moto G86 Leaked: Dimensity 7300, 50MP Camera, 5,200mAh/6,720mAh Battery, 120Hz Display, and More
As per the leaked spec sheet, the G86 will boast a 6.67-inch P-OLED screen that has a 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, a peak brightness level of 4,500 nits, an in-display fingerprint, and Gorilla Glass 7i protection. The phone will come with Dolby Atmos-powered dual speakers for sound buffs. The Moto G86 will be driven by the Dimensity 7300 SoC and will come with two different battery options – one with 5,200mAh and the other with 6,720mAh capacity – both supporting 33W charging.
The 5,200mAh variant will be 7.87mm thick and weigh 185 grams, while the 6,720mAh model will be 8.65mm thick and weigh 198 grams. The phone will run on Android 15, with a promise of two years of OS upgrades and four years of security updates. It will be available in configurations of 8GB or 12GB of RAM, up to 12GB of virtual RAM, and 128GB or 256GB of storage. A microSD card slot will allow for additional storage.
The G86 will feature a 32MP front camera for selfies and video calling, along with a rear camera system including a 50MP Sony LYT-600 primary sensor with OIS and an 8MP ultra-wide camera with autofocus for macro shots. There’s supposed to be Smart Connect, 5G, dual SIM, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, MIL-STD-810H certification, and an IP68/69-rated body. The Moto G86 will be available in Pantone color options like Spellbound, Pantone Chrysanthemum, and Pantone Gossamer Sky. The 8GB+256GB model is expected to be priced at €330 in Europe.
