The smartphone recently appeared in the TUV Rheinland and Geekbench databases, confirming the most variants: SM-G766B (global), SM-G766U/U1 (U.S.), and SM-G766W (Canada). The US variant (SM-G766U1) is listed to core an octa-core Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset with 1×2.50GHz, 3×2.40GHz, and 2×1.80GHz CPU and Adreno 810 GPU in Geekbench. The new benchmark scores are 1,157 and 3,288 for single-core and multi-core performance, respectively.

It is based on Android 15 with One UI 7 with either 6GB of RAM (5.21GB usable). Expected specifications include a 4,265mAh battery, but the rest remains unconfirmed. Official specifications are sparse, so the recently launched Galaxy XCover 7 offers a glimpse of what to expect. IP68 water and dust resistance, MIL-STD-810H certification, Gorilla Glass Victus+ — the XCover 7 is a rugged smartphone made for arduous conditions.

Samsung Galaxy XCover 7 Pro features a 6.6-inch FHD+ TFT display with a 60Hz refresh rate and improved touch sensitivity for gloves. The phone will be powered by the Dimensity 6100+ chipset, paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage, expandable up to 1TB via microSD. For cameras, it has a 50MP rear sensor and a 5MP front shooter. Additional features will include a user-replaceable 4,050mAh battery, a customizable XCover key, barcode scanner support via Knox Capture, Dolby Atmos audio, a 3.5mm headphone jack, a USB-C port, and POGO pins.
