POCO is gearing up to introduce the POCO F7 Series at a global launch event on March 27. This lineup will feature the POCO F7 Pro and the POCO F7 Ultra. No official word on this yet but a new leak has hinted that standard POCO F7 could be launching in India soon.

According to a tipster named Abhishek Yadav, the POCO F7 will land in India soon. He then said the device may carry the (rumored) Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Elite chipset and could potentially go up for launch anywhere from May to June 2025. If this is true, then POCO F7 will follow POCO F6, which was launched in India in May 2024, starting at ₹29,999. As per the past release timeline, POCO might have had similar plans for the POCO F7 for the Indian market.

As for the POCO F7 Pro and POCO F7 Ultra, industry sources have already revealed key details ahead of their unveiling. The two phones appear to have the same 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 3,200 x 1,440 pixels resolution. Rumors have it that the POCO F7 Ultra will feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, whereas the POCO F7 Pro could debut with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 instead. Both devices will likely run Android 15-based HyperOS 2.

Moving to cameras, the POCO F7 Ultra was previously rumored to feature a 50MP + 50MP + 32MP triple rear camera along with a 32MP front-facing shooter. The POCO F7 Pro, on the other hand, is expected to house a 50MP + 8MP dual-camera system at the back and a 20MP selfie shooter. Battery-wise, the POCO F7 Ultra could pack a 5,300mAh unit with 120W wired charging, whereas the POCO F7 Pro may include a larger 6,000mAh battery with 90W fast charging support.
