We have already seen HP refreshing most of its notebooks this year. Intel’s Tiger Lake processors’ introduction has caused many manufacturers to move their products to meet the Evo platform. Recently yet another entry from HP has entered the family of Tiger Lake powered notebooks.
HP EliteBook x360 830 G6, a convertible laptop, was a top performer when launched. But the device suffered heavily because its CPU couldn’t deliver the optimum performance. But the introduction of Tiger Lake changed things for the device, and it has now even received the support for 5G connectivity.
The EliteBook x360 830 G8 gets support for Intel 11th gen Tiger Lake processors with Core i5 and Core i7 as CPU options. The processors will be supported by up to 32 GB DDR4-3200 RAM. The display is as excellent as always and offers an optional HP Sure View Reflect privacy display with a 1000-nit brightness. There are more display variants, which includes 400 nits and 250 nits anti-glare FHD touch variants.
The machine comes with support up to 2 TB NVMe SSD and, as we know, is coupled with support for up to 32 GB of DDR4 RAM.
Connectivity options include:
- Wi-Fi 6
- Bluetooth 5
- 5G CAT 20
- 4G LTE CAT 9
There is a bundle of ports offered in the notebook. It includes:
- 2x Thunderbolt 4 ports
- 2x USB 3.1 Gen1 Type-A ports
- 1x HDMI 2.0
- combo audio jack
- optional nano-SIM card slot
As per reports, the device will be made available later this month. But as of now, there are no details about the pricing of the device. But we can soon expect the news to be made available soon.
