One Piece Manga : A Star-Studded Musical Collaboration

February 2025 will see Maki Otsuki, known for performing the anime’s first ending theme “Memories,” team up with hololive VTubers Shirakami Fubuki, Houshou Marine, and Tsunomaki Watame. This version, arranged by Mine Kushita (composer of “Dear Sunrise”), promises to bring a fresh perspective to the classic tune. Following this, March introduces another spectacular rendition by Hiroshi Kitadani, the original voice behind “We Are!” and “We Go!” joining forces with VTubers Takanashi Kiara, Hakos Baelz, and Kobo Kanaeru, featuring arrangements by Teddyloid and tepe.

Enhanced Viewing Experience

The Log: Fish-Man Island Saga isn’t just about new music – it represents a significant upgrade to the original arc. Viewers can expect meticulously retouched art, enhanced detailing, improved color shading, refined lighting, and upgraded special effects. The addition of a Dolby Atmos soundtrack further elevates the viewing experience, making this readaptation a treat for both new viewers and longtime fans of the series.

Looking Ahead to Egghead Arc

This musical celebration serves as a perfect sendoff for the Log: Fish-Man Island Saga, as the mainline One Piece anime prepares to resume the Egghead Arc in April 2025. The temporary hiatus, which began in October 2024, has allowed the production team to focus on enhancing the overall quality and pacing of this crucial storyline, particularly as it approaches its climactic moments on Dr. Vegapunk’s mysterious island.
