The POCO F7 series has been creating headlines for some time now, and it is believed that the series will have three models, namely, POCO F7, POCO F7 Pro and a new POCO F7 Ultra. Leakers suggest that the POCO F7 may be a rebranded Redmi Turbo 4 Pro, while the F7 Pro and F7 Ultra may be rebranded Redmi K80 and K80 Pro, respectively. Ahead of its official launch, key specifications for the POCO F7 have surfaced online. Here’s a look at what we know so far.

Tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo has shared details about the Snapdragon 8s Elite chipset, a yet-to-be-announced processor expected to be a slightly underclocked variant of the Snapdragon 8 Elite. According to the reports, the chipset beats out the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 but comes up short of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. This initial wave of devices using this chipset should arrive on the market by April 2025. The informant also predicted the release of phones with 7,000mAh or larger batteries sometime soon.

No models were specified, but according to this X user Sanju Choudhary, a POCO F7 with the Snapdragon 8s Elite chipset is in the cards. Choudhary claims that the POCO F7 will feature a 1.5K LTPS AMOLED display, a 7,000mAh battery, and 90W fast charging. If a timeline for the chipset falls into place, a POCO F7 could arrive as early as April 2025. The POCO F7 Pro and F7 Ultra are likely to arrive earlier. The POCO F7 has also received BIS certification in India, indicating a potential launch.

Similarly, a listing dated September 29 has confirmed that the model named 2412DPC0AI is also expected to feature 5G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and NFC according to Singapore’s IMDA entry. For reference, the POCO F6 was introduced in India back in May 2024, with a launch price of ₹29,999. The POCO F7 could follow a similar release timeline and pricing strategy in 2025.
