Tencent and Intel to make world’s first “3D-visual” gaming handheld; puts portable gaming to the test. It’s all possible thanks to Intel’s new Lunar Lake architecture. While the recent hardware within the handheld gaming space has focused on performance upgrades in chips like AMD’s Phoenix and Intel’s Meteor Lake, design and functionality have remained stagnant. Tencent’s upcoming device, the “3D One,” aims to break this pattern with a series of groundbreaking features.

Tencent and Intel to Launch World’s First 3D-Visual Gaming Handheld with Lunar Lake
The 3D One handheld will likely be fueled by Intel’s upcoming mid-range offering, the Lunar Lake Core Ultra 7 258V SC, which is expected to ship with eight cores and eight threads, a mobile-specific APU. This chipset is a part of Intel’s next-gen mobile family and aims to deliver an efficiency and gaming performance bump. Aside from the powerful processor, the device will feature up to 32 GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB of SSD storage, ensuring enough space for some heavy gaming workloads while still maintaining a good level of performance.
The “2-in-1” design of the downside groundbreaking senta 3D was one of the most incredible highlights of the up-inducing one. Split handles facilitate an easy transition from a tablet, to a portable gaming console; they easily cater to many content types. A large 11-inch 2.5K display with a 120 Hz refresh rate will be available for the device, which will provide a large and smooth visual experience, ideal for portable gaming.
The most cutting-edge element of the 3D One is an eye-tracking system that provides 3D visual effects without requiring external hardware or glasses. It will allow the gaming experience to be more realistic with depth and vision for aesthetics with common drawbacks of 3D gaming. Moreover, the 3D One will be shipped with a giant 100W battery to power through marathon gaming sessions. With a design inspired by ASUS’s ROG Ally X, the 3D One promises to be a high-performance handheld, but pricing and release details remain undisclosed. Given the premium features, it’s expected to come with a high price tag.
