Leaks About the Intel Arrow Lake-HX CPUs

The Arrow Lake-HX CPU lineup will feature the Intel Core Ultra 9 285HX, Core Ultra 9 275HX, Core Ultra 7 265HX, and Core Ultra 7 255HXS as well as the only listed U / ULT variant which is the six core/12 thread Intel Core Ultra-5 i5-U225HX and quad-core/eight-thread part (Core Quad-Core Turbo Processor). There will be more than one configuration for each SKU, almost all centered on clock frequencies.

First-up is Core Ultra 9 285HX, the flagship of the family which includes 8 P-Cores with Lion Cove architecture along with 16 E-Cores with Skymont design, a total of 24 cores and threads. It boasts a ground clock of 2.8 GHz for the P-Cores along with 2.1 GHz for the E-Cores and also an optimal turbo clock of 5.5 GHz for the P-Cores and 4.6 GHz for the E-Cores. P-Cores can boost up to 5.2 GHz, all-core, and there is an integrated GPU with 64 EUs ticking at 2.0 GHz as well. The next Core Ultra 9 275HX will feature the same specs but come with P-Cores that are up to 100 MHz slower in terms of boost clocks.

Next is the Core Ultra 7 265HX, which features 8 P-cores and 12 E-cores for a total of 20 cores and 20 threads. It operates at a base frequency of 2.6 GHz for the P-Cores and 2.3 GHz for the E-Cores, with maximum boost clocks of 5.3 GHz and 4.6 GHz, respectively. The maximum all-core boost for the P-Cores is 5.1 GHz. The Core Ultra 7 255HX will have 100 MHz lower boost clocks for both core types.

Finally, the Core Ultra 5 245HX will provide a configuration of 6 P-cores and 8 E-cores, resulting in 14 cores and 14 threads. This CPU will run at a base frequency of 3.1 GHz for the P-Cores and 2.6 GHz for the E-Cores, with maximum boost clocks of 5.1 GHz and 4.5 GHz. The maximum all-core boost clock is set at 5.0 GHz, while the Core Ultra 5 235HX will feature a similar core configuration but a reduced base frequency of 2.9 GHz for the P-Cores.
