Alex Moreno will be joining Nottingham Forest on a loan deal from Aston Villa. The move has been given the here we go signal by Fabrizio Romano, meaning it is only a matter of time before an official announcement is made.
The two clubs have an agreement for a loan deal with the option to buy the player down the line. Moreno has been with the Midlands club since January 2023, joining them from Real Betis.

The 31-year-old has made 48 appearances across all competitions for the Clarets, scoring three goals and providing as many assists. In spite of having two years left on his deal, he is being moved on to make room on the wage books.
Moreno was brought in as competition for Lucas Digne, who has retained his place as the starting left-back under Unai Emery. As a result, Alex Moreno will likely get more playing time at Forest, where he could maintain his career momentum.
