Walter Bou, a 30-year-old striker playing in the Argentine second division, scored a bicycle kick from outside the penalty box in what is seemingly a top contender for the Puskas Award this year.
The forward netted for Lanus late in the game against Tigers, which ended up helping his side win the game 3-2. Football fans across the world were left awestruck at the goal, with many calling for it to win the award already.

The striker received the ball with his chest and smoothly went for the bicycle kick in a do-or-die situation. The ball went right over the keeper’s head and nestled into the bottom corner, as he stood rooted to the spot.
The Puskas Award is given out every year for the most aesthetic goal of the season. And by any standards, this one certainly has a chance at winning even before the European season has started.
