East Bengal are one of the most historic Asian football clubs. They used to play in the I-League until last season. But from this season, East Bengal along with their city rivals Mohun Bagan, who merged with ATK will play in the top division of Indian football, Indian Super League (ISL).
Shree Cement has invested in East Bengal and now the Kolkata club, SC East Bengal will be making their debut in ISL on 27th November, interestingly against their arch-rivals Mohun Bagan (ATK Mohun Bagan).
As the ISL 2020-21 season is nearing, SC East Bengal have now revealed their jerseys for the upcoming season.

Mohun Bagan has merged with a successful ISL entity, ATK so it seems they will be more comfortable in adapting to the new league. Although East Bengal are entirely new in ISL, they have done some good work in recruitment from signing Robbie Fowler as the head coach to signing some talented foreigners and domestic players.
It will be an interesting season with two big Kolkata clubs playing and enhancing the league with their history.
