The iQOO Z9 Lite 5G could launch in the Indian market soon. The smartphone was teased by the company revealing its launch date and design. The upcoming phone is said to be the rebranded clone of vivo T3 Lite 5G and will sit alongside the iQOO Z9 5G series, which includes iQOO Z9 5G and iQOO Z9x that were launched in March this year, while their superior sibling was introduced just last month.
The Upcoming iQOO Z9 Lite 5G
According to iQOO India CEO Nipun Marya (@nipunmarya), the iQOO Z9 Lite 5G will launch in India on July 15. Marya confirmed this through a post on X and shared a promotional poster revealing the rear panel design of the upcoming handset. The rear panel of the iQOO Z9 Lite 5G is fitted with a rectangle-shaped camera setup that sits at the top-left corner. Within this module, are two round units arranged in a vertical orientation for the camera sensors with an LED flash unit. The first phone is shown in a green color with this modeled, marble-like finish.
On June 27, the Vivo T3 Lite 5G from India was launched. So, if the iQOO Z9 Lite 5G turns out to be a rebranded Vivo T3 Lite 5G as per some rumors and leaks surfacing online then we can expect them both to offer identical features on account of having an alike design.
The upcoming iQOO handset is expected to be powered by a 6nm octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC, feature a 5,000mAh battery, and boast an IP64-rated build. It may feature a 6.56-inch 90Hz HD+ LCD screen, a 50-megapixel dual rear camera setup with AI support, and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera.
Being positioned as iQOO’s “first entry-level 5G phone,” the iQOO Z9 Lite 5G is likely to be priced lower than the iQOO Z9 5G and iQOO Z9x 5G, which are priced at ₹19,999 and ₹12,999, respectively.
