When it comes to cooling, the Claw 8 AI+ A2VM from MSI is cradled by Cooler Boost HyperFlow technology, which houses two fans and two heat pipes intended to keep temperatures in check for longer periods of maximum performance. In addition, the device is equipped with a larger capacity battery for even more hours of play. The design has been updated with a larger chassis while maintaining ergonomic comfort for long gaming sessions, and it features advanced hall effect joysticks and triggers for an enhanced gaming experience.

Additionally, MSI will update its MSI Center M software suite with a new interface specifically for handheld platforms, including a fully customizable Quick Settings menu with advanced Macros. Pricing and release date details are not yet available, but more information is expected closer to the Lunar Lake launch in late Q3 2024.

MSI also showcased the original Claw gaming handheld with Intel Meteor Lake “Core Ultra” CPUs in the Fallout revision, seen running Fallout 4, which is now available for purchase.
