The iQOO Z9x 5G, the firm’s most recent budget 5G smartphone was unveiled in India on Thursday. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor, has up to 8GB of RAM, operates on Android 14, and offers 128GB of storage. A 50-megapixel primary camera with a 2-megapixel depth sensor is included on the iQOO Z9x 5G tough device, which is powered by a 6,000mAh battery with 44W charge support. The phone also has a 3.5-millimeter audio connector and a USB Type-C port.

The iQOO Z9x 5G in India starts at ₹12,999 for the 4GB+128GB model, ₹14,499 for the 6GB+128GB variant, my unit, and ₹15,999 for the 8GB+128GB version. It comes in Tornado Green and Stormy Grey and will be available via Amazon and iQOO’s website from noon on May 21. An instant ₹1,000 off may be obtained with SBI and ICICI Bank cards. The 6.72-inch full-HD+ 1,080×2,408 pixels 120-Hz refresh rate LCD display panel has a 393ppi density. It is powered by an octa-core 4nm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chip, with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM.
On the back, a 50-megapixel rear camera with an f/1.8 aperture, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor with an f/2.4 aperture is another clamshell sensor. By comparison, an 8-megapixel front camera with an f/2.0 aperture serves the purpose. The smartphone is also IP64-rated for dust and splash resistance. The iQOO Z9x 5G will include a 128GB UFS 2.2 storage option expandable up to 1TB using a MicroSD card slot.
In addition to 5G, the connectivity options are 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and a 3.5mm jack. The USB Type-C port is also sported. Sensors on the smartphone include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, e-compass, gyroscope, magnetometer, and proximity sensor. It is equipped with a 6,000mAh battery with 44W Flash Charge support and has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication. The iQOO Z9x 5G measures 165.7x76x7.99mm and weighs 199g.
