Meizu had launched the Meizu 21 in China last December with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. Later, the brand followed up in the first quarter of the year by launching the Meizu 21 Pro, which came with the same chipset but offered better camera features. Now, reports have been surfacing about a third device in the Meizu 21 series that uses a less powerful Snapdragon 8-series processor.
The Latest Meizu 21 Note
The suspense of which device is solved as the brand has confirmed to launch 21 Note on May 16 in China. The launch date has been made official by the Meizu 21 Note. The teaser poster reveals the front look of the Meizu 21 Note. On the back panel, two cameras and an RGB ring LED flash are exposed, indicating that the 21 Note will come in black and white.
It should be noted that in addition to the above, the poster also denies rumors previously posted about a rear design similar to the iPhone, and these leaks should be considered fakes. An official announcement regarding the display was made, and, as expected, the 21 Note will receive a 1.5K resolution and 144Hz display.
According to rumors, 21 Note will acquire a 6.8-inch OLED screen with an in-screen fingerprint sensor. With regards to the specifications mentioned earlier, it is confirmed that the 21 Note will receive a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, 16GB of RAM, and a 5,500mAh battery. The exact specifications of the remaining parameters will be revealed by the brand in the coming days before the official launch.
Reports indicate that the Meizu 21 Note will include LPDDR4x RAM, 66W fast charging support, a 16-megapixel front camera, and a dual-camera setup comprising a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 sensor with OIS and an 8-megapixel unit. The phone is likely to run on Flyme OS-based Android 14, with additional features such as dual speakers, an x-axis linear motor, NFC, an IR blaster, a glass back, a metal middle frame, and an IP53 rating.
