It was rumored about the pricing of the Google Pixel 8a in India at the end of April, and now we know the US figure. After conversion, the numbers are generally in line with our earlier predictions. Besides, we have new promotional pictures for the Pixel 8a ousted and one more paint for the cases. The Pixel 8a will reportedly cost $499 around ₹41,641.55 for the base 128GB model and $559 around ₹46,648.55 for the 256GB version, according to the information published in Smartprix. Hence, the alleged pricing of the Pixel 8a is identical to the cost of the Pixel 7a after its launch.

Meanwhile, in India, there is a rumor that the Google Pixel 8a could be INR 1,000-2,000 more expensive than the Pixel 7a. Since the Pixel 7a launched at INR 43,999, the company values the Pixel 8a at INR 44,999-45,999. However, this is only true for the Indian price, as possible promotional prices may exist during the initial sale. In addition to the official presentation, in the same Smartprix article, there are various marketing images sent to the site, presumably sent by a reliable leaker – OnLeaks.
The colors of the Google Pixel 8a in these images are green, blue, and black. The same site has also shared a collection of Google Pixel 8a housings, posted by the user @MysteryLupin. It contains housings for the previously mentioned colors, as well as a whitish-grey color. Of particular note is the coral case paired with a black Pixel 8a, raising questions about the potential existence of a coral variant of the Pixel 8a. Only time will reveal the truth.
The Pixel 8a is reportedly expected to be available in four colors: Bay blue, Mint green, Porcelain, and Obsidian, and IP67 water and dust resistance. The device may come with a 6.1-inch, full-HD+ 120Hz OLED display with up to 1400nits peak brightness. The leak implies a 64-megapixel primary rear camera, 13-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and 13-megapixel front camera, paired with a minimum of 128GB base storage. There is no confirmation whether Google will have some number of units of Pixel 8a ever produced in India.
