Shah Rukh Khan Returns as ‘Don’ for Exciting New Project!
As per Pinkvilla’s report, SRK is set to reprise the role of a don in the upcoming film. Titled ‘King,’ the film’s moniker reflects the superstar’s character as the ‘king of the underworld.’ Initially speculated to be a Hindi adaptation of the Hollywood movie ‘Leon: The Professional,’ this hasn’t been officially confirmed by the makers.
Sources mentioned in the report suggest that ‘King’ is a passion project for Shah Rukh, who, alongside Siddharth Anand and Sujoy Ghosh, is deeply involved in every aspect of the film’s creation. Together, they’ve crafted a character for SRK in ‘King’ that exudes coolness and swag.
Contrary to earlier reports suggesting the shelving of ‘King’, the film is very much on track. Extensive time has been dedicated to its pre-production phase, with shooting scheduled to commence in September 2024. SRK and Suhana are currently undergoing rigorous training for the film’s action sequences. The makers aim to release the film by the end of 2025.
