According to some of the recent reports, iQOO is said to be working on the development of a new iQOO Neo 9s Pro – a successor addition to the Neo series of smartphones. It is commonly expected to see the upcoming device launch with its variations, depending on the market, i.e., with differences in chipsets.
The Upcoming iQOO Neo 9s Pro
Sneakily, the recently released iQOO Neo 9 Pro, having been introduced a few weeks ago, brought a MediaTek Dimensity SoC in China and, in other parts of the world, a Snapdragon chip. With the iQOO Neo 9s Pro, this equation could switch: in international markets, a MediaTek chip could fly with the Snapdragon cluster powering it in China.
A Weibo user named “Experience more” spotted a listing for the iQOO Neo 9s Pro on the China Quality Certification Centre website. This listing under model number V299FA, suggests that the Chinese version will boast Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and support fast 120W wired charging, with the charging brick accommodating USB PD and PPS charging at 100W.
A small leak from a Chinese tipster also made the rounds last month regarding a new iQOO phone that may be either iQOO Neo 9s, iQOO Neo 9 Racing Edition, or iQOO Neo 10, powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and a 1.5K OLED display with a high resolution. This model will be equipped with a 50-megapixel primary rear camera with OIS.
The iQOO Neo 9s Pro, bearing the model number V2339FA was also recently listed on the Google Play Console with 12GB of RAM and could be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chipset outside China, while the rest of its features may remain the same. The iQOO Neo 9 Pro, released in international markets including India, is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, along with a dedicated Q1 chip. It offers up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, features a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED screen, and houses a 5,160mAh battery with 120W charging support.
