What does your collection of books number to?
I haven’t ever counted but I have been buying books since I was a child. I might be having hundreds maybe. I have also lent a lot of them and never got them back.
Your favourite book and why?
Quite a few but the ones I can always say would be Alchemist by Paulo Coelho, Autobiography of a Yogi by Paramhansa Yogananda, 40 rules of Love by Elif Shafak, a recent one being “Sita, a tale of ancient love” by Bhanumathi Narasimhan, there are so many actually. The books I’ve mentioned, have at various stages in my life taught me valuable lessons. In fact, that’s true for every book I read.
One anecdote while working with Eijaz Khan: Something interesting?
With Eijaz it’s always really enjoyable and comfortable. I always end up covering his light so the drop adjusts accordingly and I’m never on my correct mark in a shot. I think he has given up on me for this.
Your rapport with your mom and what she most likes and dislikes about you?
Mom is my best friend. I think we are like sisters sometimes. I think she likes everything about me and at times I feel she dislikes everything about me. Jokes apart, she likes my sincerity and discipline a lot.
