What to expect from today’s event?

Obviously, today’s main agenda will be AMD’s Zen 3 architecture for its next-gen CPUs dubbed as Ryzen 5000 or the successor to Ryzen 3000 series. Why Ryzen 5000? Because AMD will be skipping the Ryzen 4000 naming scheme for their upcoming Zen 3 based Vermeer CPUs to as not to create any confusion with their very successful Ryzen 4000 Renoir APUs.

As per recent benchmark leaks, we have already seen the great potential from the new AMD Ryzen 5000 consumer CPUs, so we can hope its upcoming Threadripper and EPYC lineup will be great as well. These processors should give a healthy boost from last-gen Zen 2, and it is expected that the single-core frequency should improve this time and challenge Intel or overtake as well.

If you are an enthusiast, or a gamer or a professional, these new Zen 3 based CPUs will be game-changing for everyone. So, get ready, guys; a new journey awaits for AMD and you today; we will be giving all details of these new CPUs today after launch, so do keep an eye on this space here.
