The potential emergence of the Vivo Pad 3 has been hinted at following a sighting, on the Geekbench website indicating that the Android tablet might come with the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC. The listing also revealed specifications for the rumored tablet, such as running on Android 14 OS and having 16GB of storage. It is anticipated that the Vivo Pad 3 will be introduced alongside the Vivo X Fold 3 and could be seen as the successor to years Vivo Pad 2.
The Upcoming Vivo Pad 3
A tablet labeled with model number PA2473 believed to be linked to the Vivo Pad 3 has appeared on the Geekbench benchmarking platform. This listing mentions that it will have 16GB of RAM and run on Android 14 OS. Performance tests have shown scores of 2,223 in core and 7,547 in core assessments.
As per reports from the listing the Vivo Pad 3 is set to feature a processor with a CPU frequency of 3.25GHz. It is said that three cores will operate at a speed of 2.85GHz while four cores will run at 2.00GHz. These CPU details are tied to the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC.
The reported inclusion of both a RAM size of up to 16 GB and a MediaTek Dimensity chip would bring improvements over last year’s Vivo Pad version. The previous model came with a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 processor and support up to 12GB of RAM. The Vivo Pad 2 was introduced at a starting price of CNY 2,499 (around ₹29,800) for the entry-level version that included 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
Operating on Android 13-based OriginOS 3, it boasted a 12.1-inch 2.8K LCD screen with a 144Hz refresh rate. Camera specifications included a 13-megapixel primary rear camera paired with a 2-megapixel macro lens, along with an 8-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls. Powering the tablet was a 10,000mAh battery with support for 44W fast charging.
