You will now be taken to a 404 error page if you attempt to access the TV area of the OnePlus India website. Additionally, the OnePlus TV category is not mentioned on the menu or page for the OnePlus Store. Nevertheless, the business hasn’t taken down its reference from the website’s footer yet.

OnePlus India website no longer features the sections for OnePlus TV and Monitor

The OnePlus TV Q1 series debuted in 2019 according to OnePlus. Numerous low-cost and mid-range smart TVs have been introduced by the brand in India since then. Still, OnePlus hasn’t released a new model in India since last year. It looks as though OnePlus and Realme are finally pulling out of the Indian market, as we reported last year.

Seems like it is the END of the road for OnePlus' 🇮🇳 India-exclusive TV & Display business!

After launching no new products in the range last year, we kinda saw it coming, but the website has now officially removed TV & Display segment/microsite. Looks like they couldn't beat… pic.twitter.com/YLIjgnIpyl

OnePlus has not released an official announcement about its decision to leave the TV and Monitor categories. The brand, owned by BBK, appeared to be dissatisfied with the sales figures these products were achieving in the Indian market. In India, the withdrawal of a smartphone brand from the consumer electronics industry is not unprecedented. In the nation, Realme and Xiaomi have both stopped releasing new laptops. Xiaomi, nevertheless, remains dedicated to its TV business in the industry.

One of the smart TV brands with the quickest growth in 2022, according to a Counterpoint Research analysis, was OnePlus. They appear to be retreating from the TV industry in India in spite of this. Even though it no longer sells TVs, Xiaomi is still one of the top smartphone companies in India.

Be advised, though, that OnePlus has not released an official statement regarding its decision to leave the TV and display industry in India. So, it’s advisable to hold off on making any judgments until after the corporation has made an official decision.
