Hope you are aware of the revised broadband plans from Jio. It was introduced around a month ago, and now, BSNL and ACT Fibernet also come with new plans that contain faster speed and more data. Though the new plans of ACT Fibernet are for Chennai only and BSNL plans are for promotional purposes.
ACT Fibernet
In Chennai, the ACT Fibernet is now offering 750GB of data at 50Mbps, in the place of 550GB, at the same cost of Rs.820, and this is the base plan. Coming up to the next, there is the Blaze plan with 1500GB of data offering at 100Mbps speed. It costs Rs.1,020. There is no OTT platform subscription bundled with these two plans, but the next higher plans have that.
The next four plans named Blaze Promo, Storm, Lightning, and Incredible those have free the Netflix subscription too. Following the written order, the plans have 2500GB, 3000GB, 3000GB, and 5000GB of data respectively to offer. The Blaze Promo plan costs Rs.1,075 with 150Mbps of speed, and the Storm plan is of Rs.1,125 with 200Mbps speed. On the other hand, to avail the rest of the two plans, Lightning and Incridible consumers need to pay Rs.1,325 (250Mbps) and Rs.1,999 (350Mbps) respectively.
The highest plan Giga doesn’t have the Netflix offering. In the case of the other details, it has 5000GB of data cap at 1000Mbps and costs Rs.2,999.
BSNL
BSNL updates its offer list with four new plans under the ‘Bharat Fiber’ lineup. They named these as Fiber Basic, Fiber Value Fiber Premium, and Fiber Ultra. These plans will be available from 29th December across India.
Coming to the offerings, the first three plans offer 3,300GB of data at a speed of 30Mbps, 100Mbps, and 20Mbps respectively. The last Fiber Ultra plan provides 4,000GB of data at 300Mbps and costs Rs.1,499. Fiber Basic plan is priced Rs.499, the Fiber Value package comes at Rs.799 and the Fiber Premium plan is of Rs.999. Users will get an additional Disney+ Hotstar subscription with the Premium and Ultra plan and free unlimited local and STC calls with all plans.

BSNL promotional plans are available until Dec 29th this year. But only for Urban customers. I tried applying for the fibre value plan, but didn’t get it because I’m a rural customer
