Xiaomi brings its Mi Watch to Europe recently. Let you know, and as some other popular smartwatches, it doesn’t run on the Wear OS. As a replacement, Xiaomi uses its proprietary software that helps to provide a longer battery life.
In the case of viewing, the watch has a 1.39-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 454×454 pixels. On top of that, a brightness of 450 nits and Gorilla Glass 3 protection are also there.
The Mi watch is enabled with 117 sports modes that work with the built-in GPS when required. That means, there is no need to pair this smartwatch with your smartphone while going out for a run or some other activities. The watch can prevent water for up to 5 ATM so that you can remain tension free.
As this is a smartwatch, multiple sensors are added in it to measure heart rate, blood oxygen saturation (SpO2), and more. Besides that, sensors for tracking air pressure and elevation, and NFC with voice control are also coming with it.
Similar to the Mi Bands, this Mi Watch also has the 420 mAh battery that lasts for up to 16 days and needs 2 hours of charge. Last, of all, there is Bluetooth 5.0 for connectivity and has integrated Amazon Alexa voice assistant.
The Xiaomi Mi Watch is available at $99 for any of the three styles and consumers can purchase additional straps from six different options.
