OnePlus 8T is in talks all over the tech world for the past few weeks. The phone will be the first T version of the recent OnePlus 8 series of the year. The production has been delayed due to this pandemic situation and the most important news about this phone is that we all know by now OnePlus is not going to provide the Plus version of the latest Snapdragon’s flagship chipset this year in this device.
As per some recent reports we saw that OnePlus 8T will have some peculiar dimensions which turns out that it will be larger in size than any other OnePlus 8 series device in the market.
To give you a comparison with the OnePlus 8, the OnePlus 8T will measure 162.8 x 75.5 x 8.4 mm whereas, the OnePlus 8 measures 160.20×72.90x8mm. As per the tipster, the upcoming smartphone is 9.3mm thick with a camera bump.
OnePlus CEO Pete Lau also claimed that the OnePlus 8T will run smoothly for at least 3 years and adds that this is a problem with many so-called flagship phones. So, he states that this flagship 8T will provide a smooth user experience for at least 3 years.
Regarding the display features, this upcoming flagship handset from OnePlus will have 120Hz of refresh rate whereas the predecessor model has 90Hz of refresh rate. Pete confirmed, “the OnePlus 8T comes with a 6.55-inch, 120Hz fluid display, which is the same size as [the] OnePlus 8” and this is added to provide users “a buttery smooth display experience”.
The phone packs with a quad rear camera setup, which includes- 48MP main sensor alongside a 16MP Ultra-wide lens, 5MP Macro sensor, and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, the phone features a hole-punch cutout at the upper left corner on the screen to hole a 32MP front camera for selfie and video call purpose.
The company has also confirmed that it will run on Android 11 out-of-the-box with OxygenOS 11. The phone comes with a decent battery backup of 4,500mAh, which will be supported by 65W of super-fast charging technology.
