AMD finally could end Intel’s gaming supremacy with Ryzen 5000 CPUs

The Red team will finally launch its Zen 3 based Ryzen 5000 CPUs on October 8th and it is one of the most anticipated lineups of processors. Now, already the Ryzen 3000 processors have been revolutionary for AMD, still dominating Intel in terms of market share after a year of launch, AMD is ready to take on Intel’s strong point.

Yes, Intel processors’s had the advantage of great gaming performance with high single-core speeds. However, AMD is ready this time with its Zen 3 architecture and the leaks do suggest that the renamed Ryzen 5000 series of processors will be better than Intel’s latest 10th Gen desktop CPUs in terms gaming performance as well.

AMD finally could end Intel's gaming supremacy with Ryzen 5000 CPUs

Already Intel has given up to AMD in terms of multi-threaded performance and now, it’s the branding of “World’s Best Gaming Processor” for its Core i9-10900K seems to be destroyed by the upcoming Ryzen 7 5800X. Yesterday, the CPU was spotted by @TUM_APISAK at the Ashes of Singularity benchmark at 4K and it looked promising.

Also, we got the 1080p gaming benchmarks, where the previous-gen Ryzen 7 3800X scored about 88.6 fps in the Crazy_1080p test. On the other hand, the new 8 core and 16 threaded Ryzen 7 5800X scored 142.4 fps on average — meaning about 60.7% uplift at the same test and same RAM capacity.

This kind of CPU performance uplift can actually give Intel shivers because this is indeed the Ryzen 7 5800X and it would be interesting to see how the Ryzen 9 series performs, and with any leaks or info, we will be sharing with you all.
