BTS Jungkook the lead vocalist of BTS, achieved a historic milestone by becoming the first Asian artist to win the Male Artist of the Year Award at the People’s Choice Awards. Unfortunately, Jungkook couldn’t attend the event in person due to his ongoing military service.
Following the announcement, fans took to the internet to shower the K-pop artist with congratulatory messages.

BTS Jungkook won the award for his solo album, “Golden,” which debuted in the international market in November 2023.
The “Golden” album comprises his earlier singles like “Seven” and “3D,” alongside fresh tracks including “Standing Next to You,” “Please Don’t Change,” and “Yes or No.”

Presently, all BTS members, including Jungkook, Jin, J-Hope, Suga, RM, Jimin, and V, are fulfilling their compulsory military service in the South Korean army. Despite this, they continue to provide updates about themselves through social media platforms.
According to reports, the group is expected to return to its activities in 2025.

Golden stands at No. 14 in the fifth week on Billboard’s Top Current Sales of Albums chart and stands at No. 15 on the Top Album Sales chart. The chart and the ranking in the list determine its both physical and digital album sales and it also determines the best-selling albums of the current week. The sale of album Golden continues to sell consistently as it has made its sales one month after its release.
