The phone is likely to be positioned as a mid-tier model in the series, directly beneath the Realme 12 Pro series. As we wait for further information from the firm, the Realme 12 Plus 5G, model number RMX3866, has now been certified by China’s MIIT.
The 91mobiles crew recently found out about the upcoming Realme 12 Plus 5G on the website for the MIIT certification. The model number RMX3866 for the Chinese version of the Realme 12 Plus 5G is noted as having a design similar to the Realme 12 Pro series.
The MIIT certification page displays the design photos of the Realme 12 Plus 5G Chinese edition, suggesting that Realme will employ a unified design language for the Realme 12 and Realme 12 Pro series. The images seem to highlight the huge circular camera module on the rear panel of the Realme 12 Plus 5G.
According to the MIIT certification, the phone’s design would resemble that of the Realme 12 Pro series. On the back is a large spherical module that houses an LED flash and quad camera sensors.
The Realme 12 Plus, using the identical model number RMX3867, just received certifications from the FCC, TDRA, and NBTC. The latter indicates that the phone will ship with NFC, 5G network compatibility, and the stock Android 14 operating system. A 5,000mAh battery with 67W rapid charging capabilities may be included in the phone.
