Jadon Sancho is all set to return to Borussia Dortmund, after being exiled by Erik Ten Hag from Manchester United. The winger will join on a loan deal with a total package worth €4 million, including the loan fees and the salary coverage. United have not included a buy option in the contract since they want to reevaluate him in the summer after the second half of the season.

The winger was exiled after publicly falling out with Erik Ten Hag over his absence in the matchday squad against Arsenal. And since then, he has been banned from training with the team as well as eating with them.

Sancho performed brilliantly with the black and yellow club in his first spell for them. He helped them win the DFB Pokal and the Super Pokal during his time with the club.

The winger scored 50 goals and provided 64 assists in 134 games across all competitions in his first spell. He was one of the most important attackers, and regularly impressed with his skillfulness in 1v1 situations.

And after returning to familiar territory, the expectation is that Jadon Sancho will be able to return to his best form. In the summer, it seems likely that the 23-year-old could be moved on permanently from Manchester United since it seems unlikely that he will feature for the club again.

Sancho will travel to Dortmund today and will soon complete his medical to be announced as a new signing for the winter transfer window.
