In a groundbreaking announcement at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), Intel unveiled its comprehensive Intel Core 14th Gen mobile and desktop processor lineup. This includes the potent new HX-series mobile processors and mainstream 65-watt and 35-watt desktop processors. Not stopping there, Intel also introduced the innovative new Intel Core mobile processor Series 1 family, headlined by the Intel Core 7 processor 150U, designed specifically for high-performance mainstream thin-and-light mobile systems.

Roger Chandler, Intel’s Vice President and General Manager, Enthusiast PC and Workstations​, Client Computing Group, spoke about the company’s vision behind this launch. “Our Intel Core 14th Gen processor family is engineered to deliver top-tier performance and platform features to both enthusiast and mainstream PC users,” he said. “Our HX-series processors are set to transform the mobile experience for enthusiasts on-the-go. Meanwhile, our latest-gen 65-watt and 35-watt desktop processors will bring efficient performance and robust platform features to mainstream desktop users.”

The newly launched Intel Core U mobile processor family is a game-changer for mainstream mobile PC users who prefer thin-and-light devices. This new mobile processor line offers efficient, balanced performance without compromising on the platform features that users expect from Intel mobile processors.

  • The latest in Bluetooth connectivity with support for both Bluetooth 5.4 and Bluetooth 5.3, including Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) audio for low-power, immersive, high-fidelity PC sonic experiences. It also supports new Bluetooth Auracast™ capabilities for broadcast audio tuning, personal audio sharing, and enhanced accessibility for hearing aids and assisted listening services.
  • Next-gen wireless connectivity offers both Intel Killer Wi-Fi 7 (5 Gig) and Intel Killer Wi-Fi 6E (Gig+).
