LG K42 launched With Helio P22 SoC & dedicated Google Assistant Button

Finally, LG K42 has been launched in the Central America and Caribbean region. This smartphone comes with MIL-STD-810G certification and sports a wave pattern on the back panel. Now let’s get into the specifications of the newly launched handset.

According to the reports, the LG K42 runs on Android 10-based LG UX OS and is powered by the MediaTek Helio P22 SoC. Regarding the display, this phone features a 6.6-inch HD+ hole-punch display. This phone will be available in two colors: green and grey.

Coming to the camera specifications, this phone features a quad rear camera module on its back. The rear camera includes a 13-megapixel primary sensor, a 5-megapixel superwide snapper, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro shooter. Coming to the selfie section, this phone features an 8-megapixel selfie camera inside the punch-hole.

The MediaTek Helio P22 SoC is paired by 3GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The storage is further expandable via an external microSD card. Regarding the battery, this phone offers a 4,000mAH cell. Apart from it, this phone also includes a dedicated button for accessing the Google Assistant virtual assistant. there is also a support of a side-mounted fingerprint scanner on this phone.

Other than these, the LG K42 has the support of a 3.5mm headphone jack as well as it features Bluetooth v5.0 and USB Type-C port for charging. This phone comes with great sound technology boosted by a 3D sound Engine, which the South Korean company claims that listened to 17 million audio samples to deliver an optimal sound. Regarding the pricing, this phone will have a price tag of Rs. 13,999, which is truly value for money.
