iQOO is gearing up for the imminent launch of the iQOO Neo 9 series in China, consisting of two anticipated models: the iQOO Neo 9 and iQOO Neo 9 Pro. While an unconfirmed leak suggested a potential launch date of December 27th, the official announcement is yet to be made. In the interim, a recent sighting on the AnTuTu benchmarking platform has unveiled crucial details about the iQOO Neo 9 Pro, shedding light on its performance and key specifications.
The All New iQOO Neo 9 Pro
According to the AnTuTu benchmark, the iQOO Neo 9 Pro has garnered an impressive total score of 2,334,911 points. Breaking down the performance, the phone achieved 524,383, 984,162, 483,234, and 343,132 points in the CPU, GPU, memory, and UX tests, respectively. Notably, the device is rumored to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chipset, as hinted by the benchmark results. For comparison, another device driven by the same chipset, the Vivo X100, scored 22,49,858 points on the AnTuTu platform.
Moving on to the speculated specifications of the iQOO Neo 9 series, the lineup is expected to feature a 6.78-inch OLED display with curved edges, boasting a resolution of 2800 x 1260 pixels. The display is anticipated to support a high refresh rate of 144Hz, along with additional features like 2160Hz PWM dimming. Regarding the processing power, the standard iQOO Neo 9 may be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, while the Pro version could house the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC, complemented by a Mali-G720 Immortalis MP12 GPU. Both models might incorporate a dedicated Q1 gaming chip to enhance gaming performance.
In terms of memory and storage, the iQOO Neo 9 series is rumored to offer configurations with up to 24GB of RAM and 1TB of storage capacity. The phones are expected to run on Android 14-based OriginOS custom skin out of the box. Camera specifications include a 50MP SonyIMX920 primary shooter with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and a 50MP ultrawide snapper, along with a 16MP front-facing camera for selfies.
