The imminent global launch of the Samsung Galaxy A55, a new addition to the mid-range Galaxy A series, is anticipated. Previously identified through a 3C certification website, details about its charging speed were disclosed, and a separate report confirmed the inclusion of an Exynos chipset. Expected to debut globally, including in India, the Samsung Galaxy A55 will succeed the Galaxy A54 launched in March this year. MySmartPrice, in collaboration with OnLeaks, has provided 5K renders of the upcoming Samsung phone, offering a glimpse of its design and key specifications.

The Samsung Galaxy A55 is depicted in the renders with a 6.5-inch flat display featuring a centered Infinity-O front camera. The display is anticipated to offer a full HD+ resolution and support a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. The phone’s design will showcase a flat frame running around its entirety, and on the rear, it will house a triple-camera setup alongside a flash.
Examining the physical attributes, the power button and volume rockers are positioned on the right-hand side, while the SIM slot is located on the top. The bottom of the device will feature a Type-C charging port and a speaker. The approximate dimensions of the device are expected to be 161.1 x 77.3 / 77.9 x 8.2mm.
As for the anticipated specifications, leaks and rumors suggest that the Galaxy A55 will be powered by a new Exynos 1480 chipset with an AMD GPU. The 3C certification listing unveiled a 25W wired fast charging capability, and the same source confirmed 5G support for the device. The display specifications include a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Full HD+ resolution, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
The phone is expected to come with 8GB of RAM and storage options of 128GB or 256GB. The rear camera setup comprises a 50MP primary camera with OIS, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, and a 5MP macro sensor, while the front camera is speculated to be a 32MP sensor.
