According to reports, Samsung, the South Korean technology giant, is set to reveal its highly anticipated flagship series, the Galaxy S24 series, on January 17. Although Samsung has not yet officially confirmed the launch date for this series, leaks and various reports have provided substantial information about the upcoming smartphones. The Galaxy S24 series is expected to consist of three models: Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra.
In a recent development preceding the official launch, the Galaxy S24 Ultra has been identified on India’s BIS certification website under the model number SM-S928B/DS. While the listing does not disclose detailed specifications, it strongly suggests that the Galaxy S24 Ultra is on the verge of making its entry into the Indian market. Confirming previous speculations, the Bluetooth SIG certification website had already indicated that the Galaxy S24 Ultra would support the S Pen.
Anticipated Specifications for the Galaxy S24 Ultra
The device is rumored to offer two processor variants, namely the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and Exynos 2400, possibly paired with up to 16 GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.0 internal storage. Display specifications are expected to feature a vibrant AMOLED panel with a 6.78-inch screen size and a QHD+ resolution. The display may adopt an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 and a remarkable brightness rate of up to 2,500 nits.
On the rear, the Galaxy S24 is speculated to boast a versatile quad-camera setup, comprising a 200MP main camera, a 12MP ultrawide camera, a 10MP telephoto camera, and a 50MP periscope telephoto camera. Additionally, a 12MP front camera is expected to enhance the device’s selfie capabilities. Powering the smartphone could be a robust 5000mAh battery, with support for both 45W wired and faster 25W wireless fast charging features.
