AIDA64 has recently released its latest update and it comes with support for AMD’s next-generation Zen 5 CPUs.

The AIDA64 v6.92 upgrade includes a number of improvements, primarily in terms of hardware support. The software monitoring and diagnostic utility now supports AMD’s Zen 5 CPUs, as specified in the title.

HWiNFO offered preliminary support for AMD Zen 5 CPUs almost a year ago, but the crucial term here is “improved” support. The AMD Zen 5 CPUs have also received Linux patch support, and we’ve seen some early examples slip out, but it will be some time before we see them in action.

Aside from that, the primary enhancements to AIDA64 include completely new AVX-512 benchmarks for Intel Xeon Sapphire Rapids and Emerald Rapids CPUs, as well as optimisation of the current AVX-512 Julia and Mandel benchmarks. It should be noted that AMD is presently the only CPU platform that supports standard AVX-512, as Intel has removed it from its recent client products, though it may reemerge with the upcoming AVX10 ISA.

Complete set of changes in AIDA64 Engineer includes: AVX-512 accelerated benchmarks for Intel Sapphire Rapids and Emerald Rapids processors, optimized AVX-512 Julia and Mandel benchmarks, improved support for AMD Zen 5 processors, MSI CoreLiquid AIO LCD support, support for PCI Express 6.0 controllers and devices, and support for CSV and XML report formats.
