Salman Khan is gearing up for his return to the small screen with a fresh edition of Bigg Boss is the original reality show and television sensation. As the anticipation for Bigg Boss 17 builds up in India, there is already a circulating list of potential contestants and speculations surrounding the theme of the show, generating significant buzz in the media. Bigg Boss 17 will begin on October 15, 2023.
Recent reports suggest a change in the hosting arrangements for the upcoming season. Initially, there were speculations about Salman Khan, a renowned actor, possibly not taking on the hosting duties this year due to his commitment to an OTT version. However, the show’s producers were able to convince him to host a few episodes. Dainik Bhaskar has reported that Salman Khan has agreed to host the show with certain limitations, indicating that he might not be available for the entire season. On Day 10, Aishwarya, Neil, Khaanzadi, Soniya, Sana, and Sunny were nominated for the elimination.
Salman Khan is currently focusing on his upcoming films. “Tiger 3” is scheduled to be released during Diwali, and his next project with Dharma Productions is set to start filming in November. Due to his busy schedule, Salman has notified the producers that he might not be able to host every episode.
Given that a majority of the brand collaborations for the show are secured because of Salman Khan’s involvement, the show’s creators are willing to adjust the schedule to accommodate him. The question that arises is who will take his place in his absence? Previously, Farah Khan has often stepped in to replace Salman Khan when he cannot attend the shoot. For the first season of the OTT version, Karan Johar accepted the challenge of hosting. Whether they will return for Bhaijaan remains to be seen as the makers are actively exploring other options.
There is a belief among those lacking familiarity with the subject that the upcoming season of Bigg Boss, referred to as Bigg Boss 17, will center around the concept of individuals versus pairs. It is expected that numerous famous individuals from the television industry will participate in the program.
