The anticipation for the release of the Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty DLC is palpable among players, but it’s not the only effort being made this year to enhance the game. A sizable mod named Cyberpunk 2077 HD Reworked Project, which was released in March, updated many of the textures in CD Projekt RED’s RPG. Hulk Hogan, the mod’s creator, has unveiled version 2.0.
The first trailer for the update, which previews several of the textures it will offer, was released along with the announcement. As usual, there is a significant quality improvement, and the updated versions are impressive for their degree of detail while preserving the mood of the game. In addition to offering a substantial number of brand-new textures, version 2.0 will also enhance the textures that were present in version 1.0.
October is the expected release date for the Cyberpunk 2077 HD Reworked Project version 2.0.
To ensure that the DLC and the most recent game update work with the mod, the creator wishes to wait until after Phantom Liberty has been released.
It is important to note that Halk Hogan is currently working on other projects in addition to the mod for Cyberpunk 2077. He also has a new HD Reworked Project for The Witcher 3 in the works, which is being created with the game’s next-generation release in mind. According to the developer, progress on this upgrade is going well, and additional video content should be made available soon.
Think back to December 2020, when Cyberpunk 2077 made its debut. The mods only function with the PC version of the game, which is available for PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, and PlayStation 5. On the other side, CP2077: Phantom Liberty will be made available only on PC, XSX/S, and PS5 on September 26 of this year.
