Royal Enfield introduced their brand-new 2023 Royal Enfield Bullet 350 on Friday as the mid-size (250cc-750cc) motorcycle market in India experiences increased competition. The Bullet, which is marketed to a worldwide audience, will start taking reservations in India on Friday, and retail sales and test drives will start on September 3 of the same year.
Motorcycles will cost Rs 1,73,562 for the Military Black and Red editions, Rs 1,97,436 for the Standard edition, and Rs 2,15,801 for the Bullet Black Gold versions, ex-showroom rates.
By the end of the following quarter, the new Royal Enfield Bullet 350 will be accessible in Europe. It will then gradually be introduced in SARRC, APAC, and the Americas.
This iconic motorcycle, with over nine decades of heritage, was introduced on Royal Enfield’s tried-and-true, incredibly refined, and smooth J-series engine platform. It is a symbol of the vibrant culture it has sparked over the years, as well as the community and characters it represents, the company said in a statement.
In his statement regarding the launch of the 2023 Bullet, B Govindarajan, CEO of Royal Enfield, emphasized the enduring legacy of the Bullet motorcycle. He praised its resilient engineering and timeless aesthetics, highlighting its role as a symbol of reliability during both wartime and peacetime for over 90 years.
Govindarajan also mentioned the craftsmanship passed down through generations and the Bullet’s ability to maintain its regal appeal while staying true to its dependable and uncluttered design. He expressed the company’s commitment to preserving the essence of the Bullet’s legacy as it evolves into a new form, ensuring its continued journey into the future.
The same cutting-edge, well praised 349cc air-oil-cooled single-cylinder engine that powers the Meteor, Classic, and Hunter also powers the 2023 Royal Enfield Bullet 350. It has a fuel-injected engine that generates 20.2 horsepower at 6,100 rpm and 27 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm.
This engine has a strong low-end grunt, a very smooth linear power delivery, and a ride that is both refined and energising. It feels polished and responsive with a primary balancer shaft to reduce vibrations. A five-speed gearbox that has been tuned makes gear shifting crisp and smooth, making for an exceptional riding experience.
Since it is more rigid than on previous Bullets and is engineered for predictable handling and manoeuvrability, the chassis inspires confidence at faster cornering speeds and feels stable on straightaways. In comparison to previous Bullet variants, this is improved by large-diameter 41mm front forks and wider-section tyres, measuring 100/90-19 up front and 120/80-18 at the rear.
The single bench seat of the motorcycle has been redesigned, and that, along with the suspension, makes for a more plush and comfortable ride. The motorcycle has subtly developed style thanks to redesigned mudguards, a noticeable improvement in the proportion, posture and aesthetic balance of the vehicle. The motorcycle will be equipped with a 300mm front disc brake and a 270mm rear disc or drum brake.
An ecosystem of 37 Genuine Motorcycle Accessories, nine of which were created especially for the 2023 Royal Enfield Bullet 350, will support the Royal Enfield Bullet 350. These include low-rise, comfy touring seats and handlebars. The company added that there is a choice of premium riding accessories, like as helmets and clothing with pinstripe-inspired details.
