AMD Radeon Pro W7600 GPU appears in new benchmarks

The Radeon Pro W7600 is AMD’s brand new entry-level workstation solution based on the RDNA 3 GPU architecture. This new graphics card will add cheaper options to the PRO portfolio. Benchleaks discovered the graphics card in the Geekbench database, where it was tested on an Intel Core i9-12900K PC. According to the description, the AMD Radeon Pro W7600 GPU is another future workstation GPU that includes the Navi 33 chip, as shown by its ID “GFX1102.”

Aside from the GPU, the AMD Radeon Pro W7600 graphics card is built around a Navi 33 SKU with 32 compute units (16 WGPs).

This means we’re looking at 2048 cores and a configuration similar to the Radeon RX 7600 (Gaming GPU). The graphics card was running at a clock speed of 1940 MHz, which equates to around 16 TFLOPs of compute horsepower, which is significantly lower than the RX 7600 due to the latter’s higher clock speed.

The memory configuration for the AMD Radeon Pro W7600 remains unchanged, with an 8 GB VRAM capacity based on GDDR6 and a 128-bit bus interface. This also signifies that the processor has 32 MB of Infinity Cache. Power consumption is expected to be roughly 150W, with power supplied via a single 8-pin connector. In terms of performance, the OpenCL and Vulkan scores of 74,839 and 77,260, respectively, were disclosed.

AMD hasn’t mentioned a release date for the Radeon PRO W7600, but given that NVIDIA is also preparing to debut its RTX ADA range for professional use around SIGGRAPH, we could see it in Q4 2023. The AMD Radeon PRO W7600 is believed to be less expensive than its competitors, such as the Radeon Pro W7900.
