Realme C53 Set to Launch in India: Features, Specifications, and Variants

Realme C53 is set to make its debut in India on July 19, as announced by the company in a press statement. The launch event is scheduled to commence at 12 noon on that day. It is worth noting that while the Realme C53 has recently appeared on the company’s Malaysia website, the Indian variant appears to differ from the one launched in Malaysia.

The phone available in Malaysia comes equipped with an octa-core processor with an undisclosed clock speed of up to 1.82GHz. It is powered by a 5,000mAh battery that enables 33W wired SuperVOOC fast charging. Additionally, it includes a dual rear camera setup and is available in two color options.

According to the press release, the Realme C53 will be unveiled in India on July 19 at 12 pm. The invitation provides a glimpse of the design of the Indian variant, showcasing a dual rear camera setup. Realme has confirmed that the phone will offer a 108-megapixel primary rear camera and will be equipped with a 5,000mAh battery supporting 18W fast charging. Further details about the phone have not been disclosed, but more information is expected to be revealed soon.

In contrast, the Malaysian variant of the Realme C53 features a dual rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary sensor. Considering that the Realme C53 is already available in Malaysia, it is possible that the Indian variant may share some of its other specifications. The Malaysian variant boasts a 6.74-inch display with a 90Hz refresh rate, 180Hz touch sampling rate, and a peak brightness of 650nits.

Under the hood, it is powered by an octa-core SoC clocked at up to 1.82GHz, coupled with an ARM Mali-G57 GPU. The Realme C53 offers 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of built-in storage, expandable up to 2TB via a microSD card. The phone runs on Realme UI T Edition based on Android 13 out-of-the-box.
