In March, the Oppo Pad 2 made its debut in China, showcasing a sleek metallic unibody design, a QHD+ display, and the powerful Dimsnity 9000 SoC. The same device was subsequently launched globally under the OnePlus brand as the OnePlus Pad. However, recent indications suggest that Oppo is preparing to release the Oppo Pad 2 for the global market as well, as it has appeared on the IMDA certification website.

The Oppo Pad 2, identified by the model number OPD2202, has recently surfaced on the IMDA certification platform, aligning with its previous listing on the SIRIM certification platform. Although the certification does not reveal specific specifications, it does hint at the tablet’s potential debut in Singapore in the near future.

The Oppo Pad 2 offers an elegant design crafted from premium aluminum and packs the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipset, delivering robust performance. Its 11.61-inch IPS LCD display features a 7:5 aspect ratio and supports Dolby Vision, providing stunning visuals. With a resolution of 2800 x 2000 pixels, a 144Hz refresh rate, and 10-bit colors, the tablet offers an immersive viewing experience.

The Oppo Pad 2 maximizes screen space with an impressive 88% screen-to-body ratio. It is equipped with a rear-centered 13-megapixel camera capable of recording 4K videos at 30fps, along with an 8-megapixel front camera that captures 1080p videos at 30fps.

For storage and memory, the tablet offers up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage, ensuring ample space for apps, files, and media. Running on ColorOS for Pad 13, which is based on Android 13, the Oppo Pad 2 delivers a seamless and user-friendly interface. The Oppo Pad 2 is equipped with a high-capacity 9,510mAh battery that enables rapid and convenient charging with its 67W SuperVOOC technology.

In addition, it ensures reliable and fast connectivity with support for Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, and GPS. The tablet also includes a USB-C port for effortless data transfer and charging purposes.
