Newcastle have agreed a deal in excess of €70 million to sign Sandro Tonali. The midfielder has agreed personal terms over a six-year contract until 2029. The medical assessment and official presentation will take place after the Under-21 Euros where Tonali is playing. He has now become the most expensive Italian player of all-time, and becomes Newcastle’s record signing as well. 

According to his agent, the project has convinced Tonali to make the move to the Premier League, where he will also be earning double his current salary.

Ruben Loftus Cheek has completed his move to AC Milan, ending his spell with Chelsea. The Premier League club will receive €16 million up front plus €4 million in add-ons for the transfer.

The Englishman has agreed to a long-term contract with the Rossoneri and is set to become the first new signing for the club this summer. He will be wearing number 8 for his new club, and is expected to be the direct replacement for Sandro Tonali.

AZ Alkmaar have received an official bid for their midfielder Tijjani Reijnders worth €19 million. However, they are holding out for a fee worth €20 million. Since the two clubs are quite close in their valuation, an official agreement is expected very soon.

Milan are looking to bid higher than the Turkish youngster’s €17.5 million release clause to sign Arda Güler. Top clubs like Real Madrid and Barcelona are also in the race for the player, but Milan are looking to integrate him into the first team right away, which could seemingly be the most attractive sporting option for him. 

The offer being rumoured is worth €22 million, but hasn’t been put forth officially as of yet. They have also decided to include a sell-on clause to make it more attractive to Fenerbahce.

AC Milan transfer news: Rafael Leao officially extends contract

Rafael Leao has officially renewed his contract with AC Milan after months of speculation over his future. The winger will be staying at the San Siro until 2028, and his new contract also has a release clause worth €175 million.

The Milan talisman will be wearing the number 10 shirt, which has become after the departure of Brahim Diaz. The Spaniard has returned to Real Madrid after spending three years on loan, vacating the number 10 shirt which now belongs to Leao.

The Rossoneri have made a proposal to Daichi Kamada, who left Eintracht Frankfurt as a free agent. The attacking midfielder has several options to choose from, with Milan seemingly ahead of the rest of the suitors. The player prefers a move to Milan, but the signing has not been closed yet owing to a matter of technical details.
