Xbox Game Pass coming to GeForce Now soon

Microsoft’s Xbox Game Pass and its PC counterpart, PC Game Pass, continue to offer one of the best gaming deals available. In a significant expansion later this year, Microsoft will make Xbox’s PC Game Pass available on Nvidia’s GeForce Now service.

Xbox Game Pass now expanding: GeForce Now users can use Xbox’s PC Game Pass to play ‘select’ games in the cloud

While Xbox Game Pass has its own cloud gaming technology, known as “xCloud,” which is highly reliable, it is limited to a smaller range of devices compared to the broader cloud gaming market. Currently, the service is accessible for streaming through PCs, mobile devices, Xbox consoles, and select Samsung TVs.

However, this will soon change as Microsoft recently announced a partnership with Nvidia. This collaboration will bring PC Game Pass to GeForce Now, allowing users to access games they have purchased through platforms like Steam, the Epic Games Store, and Ubisoft Connect.

The support for PC Game Pass on GeForce Now will be gradually rolled out in the coming months and will be compatible with all devices supported by GeForce Now, including Google TV. It’s worth noting that not all PC Game Pass titles will be available on GeForce Now; only select games will be included.

Microsoft has revealed that Xbox Game Pass members will soon be able to stream certain PC games from the library through Nvidia GeForce NOW. This will enable the PC Game Pass catalogue to be enjoyed on any device supported by GeForce NOW, including low-spec PCs, Macs, Chromebooks, mobile devices, TVs, and more. The rollout for this feature will occur in the upcoming months.

This development follows months of scrutiny faced by Microsoft regarding its attempted acquisition of Activision Blizzard, which was ultimately blocked in the UK due to concerns related to cloud gaming.

Currently, this PC Game Pass is currently available starting at $9.99 per month, offering gamers a wide range of gaming options at an affordable price point.
