Real Madrid transfer news: Florentino Perez confirms transfer activity is over
After being asked by fans about the club’s transfer plans, Florentino Perez has said that they are through with their signings for the season. Which means that any changes of Kylian Mbappe joining have been put to bed. The Frenchman was being linked with an exit after it was revealed that he wouldn’t extend his contract with PSG until 2025.
Perez confirmed that Joselu would arrive next week, who is expected to be their only natural striker for the coming season. And we can only speculate that a potential deal for Mbappe will be carried out in 2024 for free, when his contract expires.

New striker update: Official – Joselu joins on loan for 2023/24
Real Madrid have confirmed an agreement with Espanyol to sign Joselu on a loan deal until 2024. The fee involved is €500,000 only, and the player will be reducing his salary to make the move to the Bernabeu.
Considering the nature of the deal, it is a short-term solution to the departure of Karim Benzema. And the expectation now is that a more prolific striker will be brought in next season, potentially, Kylian Mbappe.
This past season, Joselu scored 16 goals and provided two assists in 34 La Liga games. As a result, he can prove to be a very smart signing for the Spanish giants if he can find his tempo with the rest of the team.

Real Madrid transfer news: Kylian Mbappe to Real Madrid not happening in 2023
After the massive announcement that Kylian Mbappe will be sold by PSG this summer, a transfer to Real Madrid seemed back in the works. The player told Paris that he will not be exercising the renewal option until 2025 on his side. As a result, his deal expires in 2024, and he will be available as a free agent then.
But, PSG don’t want to lose Mbappe for free and are ready to put him on the transfer market if he doesn’t extend with them.
Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has confirmed that they are done with their transfer activity for the season. As a result, if Mbappe is on the market, he will not be moving to Madrid this summer.
Mbappe has brushed off any transfer rumours, saying that he will be at PSG next season. However, the club might not be on the same page with him about the situation. And as a result, they may cash in on him this summer in spite of their reluctance to do so. But, the player has repeatedly enforced the point that he will be with PSG for 2023/24.
