Hyundai Exter micro-SUV’s first sketch has now been shared by the Korean automaker and it shows how the new vehicle will appear. The Exter will be Hyundai’s first vehicle in this market. The Maruti Suzuki Fronx was introduced in the India a day prior to the release of the Hyundai Exter concept art.
The Hyundai Exter will adhere to the brand’s design principles, which are also used in Hyundai SUVs like the Venue, Creta, Tucson, and Alcazar.
The vehicle has H-shaped LED DRLs up front that are connected by a line, similar to the new i10 Neos. The SUV also has square headlamps, a blacked-out grille, and the Hyundai logo.
With good ground clearance and roof rails, the Hyundai Exter presents a powerful stance and commanding presence. The image also suggests that the Exter might get a front skid plate in silver. Although it is currently unknown how the car’s rear will appear, if reports are to be believed, it may resemble the Hyundai Venue.
The Exter micro-SUV will play a crucial role in HMI’s robust lineup of SUVs, which also includes the Venue, Venue N Line, Creta, Alcazar, Kona Electric, Tucson, and Ioniq 5. The Hyundai Exter will be a micro-SUV that will be smaller than the Korean automakers’ current smallest SUV, the Venue. In this segment, the Hyundai Exter SUV will go up against vehicles like the Tata Punch and Citroen C3.
