The nominees for the 2023 Laureus Sports Awards have been revealed, with sports personalities from all fields making the list.
Following the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, Lionel Messi and the Argentina national team have made their way to the player and team of the year categories. On the other hand, Morocco have made it to the breakthrough of the year nominees, while Christian Eriksen has been named in the comeback of the year category.
The England women’s national team have been nominated for the Laureus World Team of the Year following their Euro 2022 win as well.
