Kingston launches it next-gen KC2500 NVME PCIe SSDs with up to 3,500MB/s speed in India

Kingston has recently launched its new NVME SSD range with fasts speeds up to 3,500MB/s in India. The KC2500 is the next generation M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD range for desktop, workstations and high-performance computing (HPC) systems. 

These SSDs deliver high-speed performance as its using the latest Gen 3.0 x 4 controller and 96-layer 3D TLC NAND. The KC2500 delivers up to 3,500MB/s read speed and up to 2,900MB/s write speed, which is very fast in today’s standards and you can opt from 250GB to all the way up to 2TB storage.

According to the company, the KC2500 combines outstanding performance and endurance that improves workflow for desktop, workstation and power users. These SSDs will be available in India with MRPs of ₹ 8,500 (250GB), ₹ 15,500 (500GB), ₹ 27,500 (1TB), ₹ 46,500 (2TB). Even though having a capacity of up to 2TB, the KC2500 comes in a compact M.2 2280 form factor and for security, this self-encrypting SSD supports a full-security suite for end-to-end data protection using AES-XTS 256-bit hardware-based encryption.

The NVMe SSD even allows the usage of independent software vendors with TCG Opal 2.0 security management solutions such as Symantec, McAfee, WinMagic and others. Kingston’s KC2500 features built-in Microsoft eDrive support, a security storage specification for use with BitLocker. The KC2500 is also backed by a limited five-year warranty along with free technical support.
