As we are very close to Valentine’s month, love seems to be in the air like many streaming services are preparing to unlock romance-fueled projects ‘Your Place or Mine‘ in February. It is no different as the streaming service has dropped the latest trailer for Your Place or Mine. This is mainly an upcoming romantic comedy featuring Ashton Kutcher and Reese Witherspoon. The new love drama will hit very close to Valentine’s Day.
The new love drama film follows the story of the best friends and total opposites, Debbie and Peter, featured by Witherspoon and Kutcher, respectively. It seems Debbie follows a routine with her son in Los Angeles, Peter is thriving on the other side of the country in New York. Debbie decides to travel to New York just for one week for chasing a dream. Now, Peter enters to watch her son, while the two have found out that they both going to miss something in their lives.
The brand-new trailer sees the two leads as they decide to take up the challenge of swapping their lives for a week. And honestly, it’s a joy to see Kutcher and Witherspoon return to rom-com.
Your Place or Mine was originally declared in August 2021. It has been penned and directed by Crazy Ex-Girlfriend showrunner and co-creator Aline Brosh McKenna and acts as her directorial debut. McKenna previously wrote the films We Bought a Zoo, 27 Dresses, and The Devil Wears Prada. Joining Witherspoon and Kutcher on the cast are Jesse Williams, Zoë Chao, Wesley Kimmel, Griffin Matthews, Rachel Bloom, Shiri Appleby, Vella Lovell, Tig Notaro, and Steve Zahn. In addition to starring in the film, Witherspoon also serves as a producer on the film via her own banner, Hello Sunshine. Her fellow producers on the project include writer-director McKenna as well as Jason Bateman, Michael Costigan, and Lauren Neustadter.
Reese Witherspoon and Ashton Kutcher are Debbie & Peter, best friends, and total opposites. She craves routine with her son in LA; he thrives on change in NY. When they swap houses and lives for a week, they discover what they think they want might not be what they really need.
Your Place or Mine: Release Date
Your Place or Mine declared the official release date that’s just before the premiere on Netflix just ahead of Valentine’s Day on 10th February 2023.
