Amit Sial, Aksha Pardasany, and Anshuman Pushkar collaborate for the second adaptation of the most underrated web series ‘Kathmandu Connection‘ from last year. The show really holds a fantastic story with several twists and turns. The climax is absolutely unexpecting, and we can bet that the second season is going to be more promising. The new SonyLIV thriller has managed a tight punch by presenting a fantastic performance with storytelling.

After becoming painted as a terrorist, Amit Sial lost everything in the first season. In the second season, he must not only clear the dark patch in his image, but also return with his lost honor, and respect. He yearns for acceptance from his daughter and does all he can to win back his lost honor. There is a jailed criminal Sunny Sharma is already giving the cost for his love with a journalist until she connects him once again in order to remove a dangerous conspiracy. The story of the show is set in the backdrop of the 1999 IC 814 plane hijack. The Indo-Pak peace comes with several characters jointly in Kathmandu.

The show kicks off well in the first half as the creator unveils a terrorist attack at the Indo-Pak peace summit that soon becomes repetitive and predictable with storytelling. We will see that the intertwined lives of pivotal characters keep the entertainment quotient intact until the last minute, where the twists will hit your mind as it only helps not to extend the storyline more than the existing runtime.

Amit Sial is looking lost and exhausted without a uniform and convincingly plays the part of a man who has lost it all. Anurag Arora has a former colleague shine yet again with a bigger and better part. Aksha Pradanya’s a decent job as a determined journalist, especially in her last scene. Anshuman Pushkar as Sunny Sharma has too much going on and doesn’t disappoint and you can also catch Panchayat’s Binod in a decent role.

As the creator teases yet another overused theme for the next installment, a novel script with more twists and turns would be the need of the hour.
