The full majority of AMD Ryzen 7000 Laptop CPUs, including Phoenix, Rembrandt-R, and Barcelo-R SKUs, have been disclosed by Lenovo. The leaked product catalogue also showed NVIDIA’s first GeForce RTX 40 ‘Ada’ Laptop GPU, the GeForce RTX 4050, which will be one of several RTX 40 series graphics cards to hit the laptop market in early 2023.
Various AMD Ryzen 7000 Mobility SKUs have already leaked out in recent months, and now we have confirmation from Lenovo, whose specifications sheet for the IdeaPad Pro 5 and IdeaPad Slim has been leaked Notebookcheck. The laptop manufacturer has listed the following CPUs:
- Ryzen 7 7840HS (Phoenix)
- Ryzen 5 7640HS (Phoenix)
- Ryzen 7 7735HS (Rembrandt-R)
- Ryzen 5 7535HS (Rembrandt-R)
- Ryzen 7 7730U (Barcelo-R)
- Ryzen 5 7530U (Barcelo-R)
- Ryzen 3 7330U (Barcelo-R)
The AMD Ryzen 7000 Phoenix Point Laptop CPUs, part of the Ryzen 7040 series, will include the latest Zen 4 core architecture and RDNA 3 graphics architecture.
These chips will succeed the Rembrandt portfolio, which will also be refreshed with the Ryzen 7035 series, which will keep the Zen 3+ and RDNA 2 designs, while the Barcelo refresh, or Ryzen 7030 series, will include the Zen 3 core architecture and the older Vega GPU cores.
The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 6 GB ‘Ampere’ and RTX 4050 ‘Ada’ mobility SKUs are available for the Lenovo IdeaPad 5. There are also AMD Radeon 700M and Radeon 600M integrated graphics choices for the Phoenix ‘Ryzen 7040’ SKUs and Rembrandt-R ‘Ryzen 7035’ SKUs. Lenovo presently has no AMD Radeon 7000M alternatives mentioned, however we may obtain them later following their launch.
These laptops will have a 2.8K 120Hz (2280 x 1800) or 2.2K 60Hz display (2240 x 1440). Lenovo’s IdeaPad Pro 5 (16″) Laptops will only be available with discrete GPU options, and the latest laptop range is slated to start at 1099 Euros and be available in May 2023.
